WHAT IS KETAMINE THERAPY?

A safe and effective healing solution to create positive change

Ketamine is a dissociative anesthetic that can have hallucinogenic effects. When used in a controlled setting under clinical supervision, it can help reduce symptoms associated with depression, anxiety and PTSD.

Ketamine creates a state of neuroplasticity that, when explored with a therapist, can promote positive shifts in both thinking and behavior.

HOW DOES KETAMINE THERAPY WORK?

Our Ketamine + Integration Therapy Process

Clients who undergo Ketamine + Integration therapy do so under clinical supervision at Whole Connection’s clinic. After determining if ketamine is the right course of treatment, you will meet with Dr. Kate Daly for 1-2 sessions prior to treatment to learn about the process and to set goals as well with an Integration Therapist. The integration component is such an important part of our program that you will have both Dr. Daly and an Integration Trained Therapist holding space throughout your time in the program.

Dr. Daly will administer the ketamine dose through an intramuscular (IM) injection. Each ketamine therapy session takes place in a comfortable setting, and Dr. Daly will be consistently attending to you throughout the experience along with other medical staff and integration therapists.

While the ketamine experience lasts about 45 minutes, the entire session usually lasts 2 to 2.5 hours. Due to the nature of the ketamine therapy, you must arrange for transportation home after the session.

The integration session is required the next day after the dosing session to guide you through and processing your experience. We recommend that patients plan for 6 to 8 doses of ketamine for lasting outcomes.

Who is Ketamine Therapy for?

Ketamine Therapy + Integration assists individuals who work with depression, anxiety, PTSD, end-of-life distress, chronic pain, addiction, and more. If you experience these symptoms and are committed to healing, this could be for you.
